How It Started

As a flight instructor for over six years, Chief Geek Casey Hansen saw a need for products that would bring kids into the world of aviation in a new way. After giving countless rides and providing tours to many school groups, Casey realized the desire of young people to learn about aviation - but in their own way.

Thus, AviationGeek was born. While we are new and our products are young, we are passionate. We want to provide today's kids interested in aviation with products that educate and entertain. We are constantly expanding our products with careful consideration given to how each product provides value.

About Casey Hansen, Chief Geek

Casey Hansen, himself only 24 years old, understands kids and aviation. In fact, he understands and is passionate. Casey started learning to fly when he was sixteen years old, obtaining nearly all of his licenses/ratings by the age of eighteen. He has provided airport tours and airplane rides to young people and also speaks at schools about aviation as a hobby or career.

With nearly 2,000 flight hours, many of which are providing instruction, Casey brings the passion for creating high-quality, entertaining products.
